For the first time since 2020, the WWE Royal Rumble will be taking place inside an arena with fans.
On January 29 inside The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, the premier event for WWE takes center stage.
The annual event is traditionally one of the biggest and most anticipated WWE shows of the year featuring both a men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match with 30 participants in each bout and the last person standing earning a championship match at WrestleMania 38 in April. This year, there will be a few special appearances in the form of Johnny Knoxville and Impact Wrestling Knockouts World Champion Mickie James.
Outside of the Royal Rumble, grudge and title matches will be taking place. Edge and Beth Phoenix take on The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag team match to start things off. Roman Reigns defends the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins, while Becky Lynch defends the WWE RAW Women's Title against Doudrop. Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley finally face off for the formers WWE Championship.

The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis is the site of the WWE Royal Rumble 2022. Last year, Tropicana Field hosted the event but no fans were allowed due to COVID-19 safety protocols.

WWE Royal Rumble 2022 will be available on pay-per-view or via Peacock for fans in the U.S.
Outside of the U.S., the Royal Rumble will be available on the WWE Network.
