How to watch Champions League in the USA: Full TV schedule, channels, live streams for 2021-2022

UEFA Champions League ball - 2021

The UEFA Champions League group stage, which wraps up on Dec. 9, will leave only 16 surviving teams with dreams of lifting the trophy on May 28, 2022 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The competition has only one more group match remaining which will cut the field of 32 teams in half ahead of the knockout rounds that begin in February 2022. Those will consist of two-leg, home-and-home series.

In the knockout rounds, the club that scores the most goals over the course of the two games advances to the next round. And in a new twist, away goals scored will not serve as a tiebreaker beginning with the 2021-22 European season. The UEFA Champions League final will be a single-elimination knockout match played at a neutral venue (Saint Petersburg, Russia).
