The 43rd Ryder Cup begins Friday morning at 8 a.m. ET where Team USA will be looking to earn only their third title in the last 20 years. The tournament was supposed to be held last year, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Team USA and Team Europe consist of 12 of the top golfers from the last few years. Six members of Team USA are rookies this year, while Team Europe has two of the most tenured Ryder Cup players in history (Lee Westwood and Sergio Garcia).
This morning's round consists of four foursome matches where teams of two go head-to-head against another pair. This afternoon showcases four-ball matches with new pairs. Whichever pair earns the lowest score on each hole receives the points from that hole.
