Playoff DraftKings Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for 49ers-Packers Divisional Round Showdown tournaments

DraftKings-Showdown-49ers-Packers-FTR

We're taking some big risks in our 49ers-Packers DraftKings Showdown lineup, but in a game this loaded with stars, you're going to have to fade someone you like. In order to fit in an Aaron Rodgers-Davante Adams stack, we had to pay down for our "Captain" and include a TD-or-bust pick who should provide plenty of lineup differentiation. In other words, we have the type of single-game lineup that could really hit big in a DFS tournament if things break right but by no means is a guaranteed money-winner.

Here are the important settings for DraftKings single-game contests: It's full-point PPR, and there are three-point bonuses for 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards, and 100 receiving yards. The Captain pick costs 1.5 times a player's original price, but he also gets his point total multiplied by 1.5.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: 49ers vs. Packers

$50,000 budget, need at least one player from each team.

Captain: (1.5x salary, 1.5x points): RB AJ Dillon, Packers ($7,500)

Dillon has a lot going for him, including price and TD potential. However, he loses some luster on DraftKings compared to FanDuel because he doesn't catch many passes and is unlikely to crack the 100-yard barrier, but it's tough to field a worthwhile lineup with either Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Aaron Jones, or Deebo Samuel as your "Captain." Dillon has seemingly taken over as Green Bay's top ball-carrier, and his physical style should work better against San Francisco's tough front. Dillon can pay off this price as long as he scores, and if he's just a little more active in the passing game, he could provide great value as a lower-owned "Captain."

FLEX: QB Aaron Rodgers, Packers ($10,800)

The MVP front-runner can put up big numbers against anyone, and with an average of 298.5 passing yards and over three total TDs per game in his past six full contests, we expect the good times to continue rolling against a banged-up 49ers' defense. Fading Rodgers is a risky-but-potentially-viable move, but we don't have the guts to make it.

FLEX: WR Davante Adams, Packers ($11,600)

If Rodgers goes off, Adams will, too. Green Bay's star pass-catcher has averaged 8.7 receptions, 105.7 yards, and 1.3 TDs over his past six full games, so fading him would be ill-advised. The only real question is whether he should be your "Captain." It's tough to pay up for him in that spot, but we'll gladly take him as a flex.

FULL-SLATE LINEUPS: FanDuel | DraftKings

FLEX: WR Deebo Samuel, 49ers ($11,200)

Samuel is a threat as a pass-catcher and a runner, so he has value regardless of whether San Francisco gets up or down early. The Packers are better against the run than the pass, but Samuel is the type of physical, versatile runner who can have success against anyone.

DRAFTKINGS LINEUPS: CIN-TEN | LAR-TB | BUF-KC

FLEX: WR Allen Lazard, Packers ($5,600)

Lazard will have to contend with Randall Cobb (core) for targets, but with Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back) expected to be out, Lazard still has plenty of upside. He's been on fire down the stretch, averaging 4.2 catches, 58 yards, and one TD per game over his past five. He can easily pay off along with Rodgers and Adams, though there's an argument that two WRs and an RB from Green Bay is too much. We're taking the risk given our desire to get Samuel in our lineup.

FANDUEL LINEUPS: CIN-TEN | SF-GB | LAR-TB | BUF-KC

FLEX: RB Kyle Juszczyk, 49ers ($2,600)

Juszczyk's touches are nothing to write home about, but he's the kind of versatile player who can catch passes anywhere on the field or get goal-line carries. We need an ultra-cheap player, and Juszczyk is about as cheap as we can go and still have a real chance for points. We could just as easily get a zero, but we'll take our chances.
