Joseph Parker and Dereck Chisora will square off at AO Arena in Manchester in a bout that will see one fighter get closer to a heavyweight title fight while the other may be outside of the championship picture for the rest of their career.

Chisora and Parker were originally slated to fight on Oct. 26, 2019. However, a spider bite rendered Parker ill and canceled the fight.

The fight is now back on 18 months later, with both fighters in different spots in their respective careers.

Chisora is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Oleksandr Usyk last October. At the age of 37, he can't afford back-to-back losses in an increasingly competitive division.

Parker last fought in February in an underwhelming decision victory over Junior Fa. The former WBO champion didn't put together a particularly scintillating performance but managed to pull off a wide decision.

With the heavyweight pecking order shaking out, neither Parker nor Chisora can afford to lose.

In the co-main event, undisputed women's lightweight champion Katie Taylor will put her titles on the line against Natasha Jonas as she aims to be recognized as the No. 1 women's pound-for-pound fighter in the world.
