Per the NBA, a player that enters the NBA's Health and Safety Protocols must be sidelined for 10 days or record two negative PCR tests in a 24-hour period before they can resume basketball activities. Including Saturday's meeting with the Warriors, the Raptors have five games scheduled between Dec. 18 and 28.

After missing the first 10 games of the season while rehabbing his shoulder, Siakam was beginning to return to his best form, averaging 21.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists over the last seven games before being placed in the protocols.

Banton, the first-ever Canadian drafted by the Raptors, has taken on some responsibility during his rookie season, averaging 4.1 points in just under 13 minutes per game. The 22-year-old Rexdale native has appeared in all but one of the Raptors' first 28 games.

More to come.
