This is perhaps the biggest day of the Olympics for Katie Ledecky.

She starts her morning in Tokyo swimming as the underdog in the women's 200-meter freestyle, where she will race against Australian Ariarne Titmus, who is favored to win, and star swimmers Federica Pellegrini from Italy and Penny Oleksiak from Canada. This will be the second of three races between the two freestyle swimmers, who have quickly developed the sport's best rivalry, as the pair will race again on Friday in the 800 freestyle.

That won't be all from Ledecky on Tuesday, however. She'll also race in the first-ever Olympic women's 1500 freestyle, a race in which she is expected to win soundly, helping add to her Olympic legacy.

Americans Kate Douglass and Alex Walsh will also vie for gold in the 200 individual medley as the pair enter the race as the No. 1 and 3 seeds, respectively, while Gunnar Bentz will hope to bring the U.S. men a medal in the 200 butterfly, though winning gold could be a challenge with world record-holder Kristof Milak (Hungary) pacing the field. The swimming finals wrap up with the men's 4x200 freestyle relay, where Great Britain dominated the prelims, but the rest of the field remains wide open with the U.S. hoping to secure gold with a fresh lineup after placing fifth in the prelims.

Sporting News will provide live updates and highlights from each event during the fourth day of Olympic swimming finals.
