Cooper Kupp has lit up the football world this season, but after his team's most recent win in the NFC title game, Kupp reminded himself and everyone else that there are things which transcend football, as well.

Notably, Kupp shared an embrace with another Rams receiver in Robert Woods, who's been sidelined with a torn ACL since Nov. 12 and hasn't played since Week 9.

Woods repeatedly expressed his love for Kupp in the promotional clip for "Inside the NFL" and said the connection the two shared was "deeper than football."

Kupp had a breakout season in 2021, leading the league in receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947) and receiving touchdowns (16) as he put together one of the best seasons by a wide receiver in recent history. He also picked up his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro nods as a result.

Woods, meanwhile, was productive in the nine games he played, hauling in 45 catches for 556 yards and four touchdowns. Since joining the Rams in 2017, he's been either first or second on the team in receiving yards all but one year and has two 1,100-plus yard seasons to his credit. The 29-year old Woods signed a four-year, $65 million extension with the Rams this season, keeping him in LA until 2025.

The two teammates came to LA together in 2017. Kupp was drafted in the third round while Woods signed as a free agent and Kupp got a taste of what Woods is going through this season in 2018 when the former also tore his ACL halfway through the season.

The Rams have made it to the Super Bowl this season without Woods, but given Odell Beckham's contract status as well as other factors, Woods could return to playing a big role in the Rams' offense in 2022 and beyond.
