Rams vs. Titans final score, results: Jeffery Simmons leads defensive charge as Titans rout Rams without Derrick Henry

Two key positions will look different for the Rams and Titans when the two face off in Week 9.

For the Titans, they'll be without star running back Derrick Henry, who's sidelined for an indefinite amount of time after sustaining a foot injury and receiving surgery on it. Prior to his injury, Henry was leading the league in carries, rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.

Largely thanks to Henry, the Titans are 6-2 and firmly atop the standings in the AFC South, with the next closest team being the Colts who are 4-5.

In Henry's absence, Tennesee called upon the services of Adrian Peterson, the NFL's fifth all-time leading rusher and seven-time Pro-Bowler, to fill the void. Peterson spent last year with the Lions, playing in all 16 games and starting 10, notching 604 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Rams, meanwhile, added star linebacker and eight-time Pro-Bowler Von Miller to a defensive unit that already includes stars Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Donald, among others. MIller had 4.5 sacks and seven tackles for loss so far this season with the Broncos prior to being traded.

At 7-1, Los Angeles needs a win to stay tied with the Cardinals for the divisional race in the NFC West while the Titans are in fine shape in the division race regardless of the result.
