The Olyroos and Matildas are both embarking on a journey for gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics in Japan through July-August.

While Australia will be restricted to under-23 players and three overage squad members in the men's competition, the Matildas will be able to compete for glory with no age restrictions.

Sporting News explains how you can watch our male and female football stars compete for one of the greatest individual honours.

How to watch the Olyroos and Matildas at the Tokyo Olympic Games?
