The 2020-21 A-League season is reaching its end with the competition's initial finals details now confirmed.

The battle to secure a spot in the top six came down to the final round of fixtures with Macarthur FC and Adelaide United narrowly holding off a late charge from Wellington Phoenix. 

Melbourne City wrapped up the Premiers Plate with relative ease but both they and second-place Sydney FC go into the finals with a number of stars called up for Socceroos duty. 

Despite initial confusion over when the finals would be played, the Australian Professional League (APL) have locked in the dates that fans can now look forward to.

How to watch the A-League finals in Australia 

Fox Sports boast the broadcasting rights for these matches with all games shown live on their respective channels and streaming service Kayo.

Kayo has made all upcoming finals match part of their 'Freebies' package meaning fans without a subscription can watch for free. 

The APL have also confirmed ABC will provide delayed coverage of the finals matches. 

A-League finals betting odds*

Melbourne City have emerged as the slight championship favourites ahead of the semi-finals with Sportsbet giving them $2.20 odds of claiming the title. 

Sydney FC are only slightly further back at $2.25 with Adelaide United and Macarthur FC given little hope at $9.00 each.
