Warriors CEO Cameron George has condemned the behaviour of some of the club's players during Sunday's 44-0 defeat to Gold Coast.

In a spiteful affair, three Warriors were sent to the sinbin, while four were charged over five incidents by the match review commitee.

Reece Walsh (one match), Jazz Tevaga (fine), Kane Evans (three matches) are all facing sanction after they were charged in relation to two melees.

Evans (two matches) and Matt Lodge (one match) are also facing suspensions over separate dangerous contact charges.

Lodge has since posted a lengthy apology to social media, committing to continue working on controlling his emotions.

Speaking on Monday, George apologised on behalf of the club, reiterating the actions of some players didn't live up to their standards.

"We're very disappointed. On behalf of our fans and sponsors and owners, we apologise as a footy club," George said.

"For A; the scoreline, which is not the way we want to finish off and B; the conduct displayed by certain individuals which we'll certainly address during the week internally.

"I know the emotions ride high in this highly competitive game and yesterday they spilled over the line that we deem appropriate.

"There's no excuse for it, there's nowhere it should have come from.

"And to have x amount of moments yesterday where we've let ourselves down in that regard, there's no excuse for it and again I just apologise to everyone."

George said the players involved had expressed their remorse after the game.

"Those players, once they cooled down, were certainly remorseful in their actions, but for me that's irrelevant," George said.

"They have a responsibility, an obligation, we as a club do as well, to demonstrate very good conduct and we failed in that space yesterday at certain times."

Lodge and Evans now have significant rap sheets, meaning any future transgressions will be punished more harshly.

Lodge is contracted until the end of next season, with two more years in his favour, while Evans is also tied to the club for another year.

George said Lodge's record was becoming an issue.

"The matter we need to address with him is that disciplinary record," he said.

"It's pretty black and white with me in terms of how we move forward with this.

"We'll have a chat to Matt, we'll have a chat to other players about their records about what happened yesterday and we'll make sure we do everything we can to tidy that up."

The Titans loss saw the Warriors slip to 12th place, bringing to an end another difficult season away from home for the Kiwi outfit.
