The Panthers notched up 17 wins on the trot in 2020 as they roared towards a grand final appearance - and now Melbourne have gone one better, with a golden chance to set a new all-time mark.
But a dominant run doesn't always equal premiership success - as the Panthers proved last year.

15 wins - Cronulla Sharks 2016
The Sharks dominated the 2014 NRL season, going on a 15 game winning streak between rounds 5-20.

The Doggies went on a remarkable run in 2002 before they were stripped of all their points for salary cap breaches,
17 wins - Penrith Panthers 2020

Melbourne haven't lost a game since round three and will look to equal the record when they face the Titans in round 23.
