Australia's swimming team are expected to lead the charge on Day 1 of the Tokyo Paralympic Games, with a host of medals on offer in the pool
A strong table tennis contingent will also be in action on the opening day, while our cyclists are tipped to feature strongly n the medal hunt at the veledrome.
It will also be a busy day in the teams events, with Australia's goalball, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby teams all set to begin their campaigns on Wednesday.
