Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul and Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid have been named the NBA Players of the Week for Week 15 of the 2021-22 season.

Chris Paul, Phoenix Suns

Phoenix’s star guard helped the Suns to a 4-0 week with averages of 22.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 12.8 assists. His best performance of the week came against the San Antonio Spurs on Jan. 30 when he logged 20 points, eight rebounds and 19 assists in a 115-110 win. The Suns (40-9) are currently the No. 1 seed in the West standings. 

Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers 

The Sixers enjoyed a 3-0 week thanks to the play of their star center, who averaged 34.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.3 blocks. He came up big with a 42-point, 14-rebound showing in a Jan. 25 win against the New Orleans Pelicans. The 76ers (30-19) are currently the No. 3 seed in the East standings.
