Australian Boomers captain Patty Mills will lead the Australian Olympic Team in Tokyo after he was today announced as one of the flagbearers for the Games.
Mills will share the honour with swimming star Cate Campbell in Tokyo.
The 31-year-old NBA veteran is the first Indigenous Australian to carry the flag at an Olympic Games.

Mills made his debut for the Boomers in 2007 and has gone on to represent Australia at three Olympic Games (Beijing, 2008, London, 2012, and Rio 2016).
