Brisbane Broncos flyer  Jamayne Isaako will link up with Wayne Bennett in 2023, signing on with The Dolphins for their inaugural season in the NRL.

The 25-year-old debuted in the top grade under Bennett back in 2017, before winning the Dally M Rookie of the Year in 2018.

Isaako has gone on to score 24 tries in 75 games for the Broncos, and also has five Tests for New Zealand to his name.

“Jamayne is fast, elusive and a point-scoring machine, so we welcome him into the first ever Dolphins squad,” Dolphins CEO Terry Reader said.

“We have signed a couple of quality forwards in Felise Kaufusi and Ray Stone so it is encouraging to get an international outside back onto our roster as well.

“Jamayne is a great pick up for the Dolphins for our first year – it means we are pretty sure we already know who will be kicking goals for us in 2023.”

The versatile outside back will remain at Red Hill for 2022, where he will be battling for a spot at fullback or on the wing. His deal with The Dolphins has been reported as a three-year agreeement.

Broncos head of football Ben Ikin thanked Isaako for his time to the club and believes he will continue to contribute next year until he departs.

“Jamayne has been in the Broncos system for a while now and made a wonderful contribution over many years," he said.

“He remains contracted with the club until the end of the 2022 season and has spoken with us about making it a great year on and off the field.

“We wish Jamayne and his family all the best in the next part of their journey once we reach the end of the 2022 season.”

Isaako's addition to The Dolphins squad comes after they also signed QLD Origin forward Felise Kaufusi to a long-term deal , as well as Eels utility Ray Stone.
