Parramatta Eels utility Will Smith has found himself a new home for 2022, signing a two-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans.

The 29-year-old has played 75 games across stints with Penrith and Parramatta, and was a part of the Eels' lineup during their finals campaign in 2021.

Smith has the ability to cover fullback, halves or hooker and will add depth to the Titans' roster for next year.

Titans coach Justin Holbrook praised Smith for his versatility and believes he will also bring experience to their squad.

“Will is an exciting player that has shown what he can do at NRL level,” Holbrook said.

“He has the talent to cover a number of spots and has shown through his career that he can slot in almost anywhere on-field.

“Will was a big part of the Eels push into finals this year and we’re excited that he will being his skills and experience into our squad for 2022.”

Smith will join fellow recruits including Roosters veteran Isaac Liu and former Warriors young gun Paul Turner when pre-season begins later this year.
