Canberra Raiders forward Corey Harawira-Naera has been sent off against the Melbourne Storm, following a high shot on halfback Jahrome Hughes.
The 26-year-old is likely to spend a lengthy stint on the sidelines after being given his marching orders by Gerard Sutton late in the Raiders' 26-16 loss on Thursday night.
Harawira-Naera flew out of the line and collected Hughes high, and there was never any doubt about whether or not he would be sent off.

That was a send off before the crackdown that lasted a month and then disappeared.

Not a dirty player CHN and showed genuine remorse but that was an awful tackle on a smaller man.

Earlier in the year, Tyrell Fuimaono was banned for five games after a high shot on Ryan Papenhuyzen , where he similarly flew out of the line and collected a player high.
