AS ADVERTISED.

What do you get when you lock two of the toughest, most exciting lightweights in the world in a cage for 15 minutes? That.

Justin Gaethje defeated Michael Chandler via unanimous decision one of the all-time great non-title fights at UFC 268.

The Madison Square Garden crowd were treated to an incredible display of skill and toughness from both men.

Former Bellator champion Chandler started well, landing some big shots as both men enjoyed some success in a back-and-forth first round which two judges scored for Chandler.

Gaethje's devastating leg kicks were beginning to tell before he dropped Chandler with an uppercut early in the second round.

It was chaos from there on out as Geathje remained on top but fans remained on the edge of their seats as the two men regularly traded in the pocket.

To the surprise of many, the bell and not the referee brought an end to fight as Gaethje took out a unanimous decision (29-28x2, 30-27) win.

More to come.
