The route to the 2022 World Cup isn't getting any easier for the Socceroos as they face another must-win qualifier against Oman on Wednesday morning.

Australia beat Vietnam 4-0 last week in Melbourne with another victory of vital importance with the side currently third in their group and outside of an automatic qualification spot. 

Oman lost to group leaders Saudi Arabia 1-0 last time out, while the last match between these two sides ended 3-1 in the Socceroos' favour.
