The new A-League Men season is finally here after a particularly long pre-season.
Plenty of attacking talent will be on show across the 2021-22 campaign with the goals expected to flow freely.
Melbourne City and Socceroos striker Jamie Maclaren enters the new season looking to defend his title as top scorer having found the back of the net 25 times across the 2020-21 campaign.
Departed Macarthur forward Matt Derbyshire was next best with 14 goals but expect Maclaren to face more challengers this time around.
From former Liverpool attacker Daniel Sturridge to Sydney FC's Adam Le Fondre and Western Sydney Wanderer Tomer Hemed, there will be plenty of players looking to step up regularly in front of goal.
It's also important to recognise the players who supply the goals and we'll be keeping tracking of assists throughout the season to shine light on the A-League Men's most creative players.
