Manly youngster Josh Schuster has avoided suspension for a dangerous throw in the second half of his side's qualifying final loss to Melbourne.
Schuster upended Storm halfback Jahrome Hughes, sparking a minor flare-up among the teams.
The 20-year-old will however be free to play in next week's semi final, having been charged with a grade one dangerous throw.
With an early guilty plea, Schuster will cop a $1,150 fine.
No other players were charged from Friday night.
