When is the 2022 Supercars Championship?
The 2022 Supercars Championship is set to begin on March 4 at Sydney Motorsport Park.
A date for the final race of the season is yet to be confirmed following a calendar re-shuffle due to the postponement of the Newcastle 500.
This year represents the first championship under new ownership group Racing Australia Consolidated Enterprises Ltd (RACE).
There are no signifcant changes to the cars this season, with the Gen3 fleet to make their racing debut in 2023.

Supercars have released a draft calendar for the upcoming season.
Specific dates and race formats will be revealed shortly, along with the rescheduled date of the Newcastle 500.
The 2022 championship will include at least 34 races across 13 events.

Fox Sports will broadcast the Supercars Championship in Australia again this year.
Fans will be able to enjoy the action via Foxtel or Kayo Sports, with qualifying sessions and races available live and on-demand.
For those living outside of the Australia, the 2022 Supercars Championship will be available on SuperView via Supercars.com or their YouTube channel.

The entry list for the 2022 season was confirmed in January, with 11 teams and 25 drivers filling up the Supercars grid.
Shane van Gisbergen won the drivers' championship last year, and is likely to be challenging for the title again this season.
